Mercouri is a mountain village in Argolida, about 17 kilometers from Argos and belongs to the Municipality of Argos-Mycenae. Mercury with about 40 inhabitants, which is close to Mazi and Fregaini, has the ruins of Ancient Oinoi. In the village there are the churches of Agia Irini Chrysovalantos and Agios Nikolaos where the village cemetery is located. There is a tavern in Mercury. The inhabitants of the village are engaged in animal husbandry and olives.
